Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly, information generated by your use of the Service, and limited information from third-party services you connect.

• Account information — name, email address, authentication tokens (for Apple or Google Sign-In), and subscription status.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, generation requests submitted, error logs, and session metadata such as IP address, device type, and browser.
• Generated content metadata — the text prompts, settings, and parameters you submit when creating a video, along with metadata about the resulting output (duration, resolution, mode).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Send transactional communications such as generation notifications and receipts.
• Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Analyse usage patterns to improve product quality and reliability.
• Send optional product updates and marketing emails (you may opt out at any time).

3. AI Processing

To generate videos, your text prompts and configuration parameters are transmitted to third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic. These providers process your inputs only to fulfil the generation request. We do not sell prompts to these providers for model training, and we select providers that offer appropriate data processing agreements. You should avoid including sensitive personal information in your prompts.

4. Data Storage

Generated videos and associated assets are stored on Amazon S3 or Cloudflare R2 object storage, distributed via a CDN for fast delivery. All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Our database and application servers run in data centres within the United States.

5. Third-Party Services

We work with third parties to deliver parts of the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles card data directly; Movxa never stores raw payment credentials.
• Apple / Google — in-app purchase processing on iOS and Android.
• Analytics providers — aggregate, anonymised usage metrics to understand feature adoption and performance.

Each third party is subject to its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

6. Data Retention

Generated videos are stored until you delete them from your library or delete your account. After account deletion, your personal data and generated content are removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records which we keep for 7 years). Anonymised aggregate usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Deletion — request erasure of your account and associated data.
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate personal data.
• Export / portability — receive your generated videos and account data in a machine-readable format.
• Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time via the link in any email.

8. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies store your authentication session token and CSRF protection token. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings; doing so will sign you out of the Service.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe a child has registered an account, please contact us at hello@movxa.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
